Frank Sinatra: Sinatra 80th: Live In Concert
Orchestra conducted by Frank Sinatra Jr.
7. In The Still Of The Night
12. Strangers In The Night
Seeing Frank in concert in an experience. Audiences know they are going to see something special. Except for a few anthems like 'New York, New York,' and 'Strangers In The Night,' the shows are generally unpredictable and changeable. Frank has confidence in the band and his stage crew, and rarely comes to rehearsal. He goes over the run-down just before the show. Sometimes he'll vocalize with the piano before he goes on. The band goes over many numbers the day of the gig – we cover all possibilities. Throughout the show Frank is in touch with the conductor and musicians about one thing or another. He is in complete control of the stage. – Bill Miller
