Liner Notes

When I had to sing with Dad, I had mixed emotions. I loved it and was honored and thrilled to be able to do it. I revered him the way the rest of the world did, from a musical standpoint. But I hated it, because we were singing in his key, and it… it was so high for me. It’s actually low for me, but when you sing in a man’s key, you’re up an octave higher. So I really struggled with that every time I sang with him. Until we sang 'Somethin’ Stupid' – then he ended up with the high part ’cause I was doing the lower harmony. – Nancy Sinatra
