    An Interesting Historical Note...
Billy Strange, who arranged Nancy's non-soundtrack, single version of "You Only Live Twice" (Reprise 0595), also recorded his own version of the song (without Nancy), which was released in 1967 as a single ("You Only Live Twice"/"For A Few Dollars More" [GNP/Crescendo 395]) and on his album A James Bond Double Feature (GNP/Crescendo GNPS-2039).

Regarding her recreation of a Vietnam-era performance of "These Boots Are Made For Walkin'" for the TV series China Beach, Nancy told TV Guide, in the "Insider" section of the June 4-10, 1988 issue, "This was a marvelous experience, but I hope never to do the real thing again." Pictured below are the color photo (by Chic Donchin), which accompanied Nancy's quote, and the May 24, 1988 ABC press release for the episode.

Amazing job, Andrew! It's really impressive when you see just how many times(and places)that Nancy's music has shown up.

And the fact that most of the soundtrack appearances occurred during the last twenty years demonstrates the timelessness of Nancy's music.

In its film review for Whitney Houston's recently-released motion picture, Sparkle, The Hollywood Reporter states that one of Nancy's performances of "These Boots Are Made For Walkin'" is included in the film.

According to Soundtrack.Net, the footage is derived from the ABC-TV series The Hollywood Palace. This would indicate that it is Nancy's performance from the March 19, 1966 broadcast hosted by Robert Goulet (Season 3, Episode 25).
