What Is On Your DVD Player / What Are You Watching Now?

taking inspiration from Dave's (where is Dav-Here? btw, he's been Dav-Not Here recently) popular "Right now...what CD is in your home or car CD player?" thread, a simple question, what have you been watching lately, and what did you think?

Is it an old favourite revisited, or a recent rental or purchase?

  2. "The Luck of the Irish"

It's in my DVD player because I'm just learning how to transfer my favorite movies from VHS to DVD. It was the first one I "finalized" and I wanted to make sure I did it right!

    We have been watching a dvd some Australian friends sent to us, entitled Kath and Kim, 8 episodes of an Australian comedy series produced by the ABC;
its a riot a satire on Australian suburban life, Karyn mentioned once how she liked it the next one to view is Frank's film" Suddenly" which I haven't seen for years combined with a cd of his early radio recordings

  5. Gary and Tony I LOVE Kath and Kim!!!! Gary are you a fellow fan?

In my dvd player at the moment is "The Birdcage" , I needed a good laugh last night and watched it with James and his girlfriend. I think Hank Azaria is brilliant in it.

The funny thing is I know people like that and it is more typical and representative of Melbourne than Neighbours

    Right now...

My VCR has a blank tape in it. So that I can tape stuff to bring to work and watch.

I think the DVD my friend who lives in Texas sent me of Greater Tuna is still in my DVD player.

Smile Right now...what movie is in your DVD or Video player?

Good evening from The American Midwest-USA:

We watched AMADEOUS (sp) on VHS the other day...

But the big one for us lately is MILLION DOLLAR BABY....wow! Really opens up my mind about what to think about things important...the tear that came out of her eye touches me deeply....

And I have the soundtrack DC in my car and the music is incredible by CLINT EASTWOOD....

Otherwise, we watch FAWLTY TOWERS quite a bit..

And we love PETER SELLERS in the PINK PANTHER movies and SHOT IN THE DARK....and we watched DR. STRANGELOVE the other day...

    Nice subject...I'm going to bed.
    Respectfully,
The journey's long, much longer that I reckoned, in any throng, I'd know her in a second......

Right now, "Saints and Soldiers." I didn't make it all of the way through before I got distracted and lost track of what was going on.

Before that, the second part of "Hide and Seek" I didn't make it all of the way through it the first time several days ago either, so I finished watching it yesterday.

Being easily distracted seems to be a problem of mine.

    Right now

it's off to bed with Bela Lugosi, not literally, but in Tod Browning's 1931 version of Dracula, with the special edition new score by Philip Glass, very relaxing accompanying the great Hungarian's rolling diction.

Taping many movies of William Powell, today. It's his birthday, and Turner Classics is saluting him.

I must an 'old fashioned' girl. No 'tape' in sight, but does anyone have a better word for recording on DVD?
