    Dana D-lightful!

Dana's "Playing Favorites" was excellent. Since it included "Good Thing Going," it REALLY shows her exceptional taste! Her new tv drama, "Body of Proof," is off to a good start. I call it "Quincy Redux," evoking fond memories of Jack Klugman's marvelous series, "Quincy, M.E."

Not only has Judy picked a nice set, she has shown a rare degree of self-effacement by not programming any of her own many excellent performances, which I don't recall before from a singer hosting this show. I've always enjoyed her beautiful soprano voice and look forward to this.

Add to that the fact that she didn't even play Frank's version of Both Sides Now.

    Wonderful Stuff, Leigh Ann!

As I've mentioned more than one time, Eunice has had a "thing" for Jack Jones all these years! We've played & re-played this "Playing Favorites" many, many times! It's great! I've always maintained that Jack Jones and Steve Lawrence have wonderful senses of humor -- among the funniest "non-comedic" performers I've seen! And, lest we forget, Jack's Dad, Allan, was a thrilling Gay Ravenel in the '36 version of "Show Boat!"

Mr. Cumming's "Playing Favorites" was excellent the first time around! His "MC" in "Cabaret" was one of the most chilling and brilliant performances I've seen in years! And, remember, IMO, he's an "Out-Bet" to win the Emmy as Best Supporting Actor!
